Secret talents. Do you have one? Would you brave enough to post a video of displaying yours? *Spoiler alert*: yep, I’m going to share one of my surprise talents with you at the close of this post, so I know you want to keep reading. It involves a slightly stupid human trick that I have been able to perform for years. But now that I’m thinking about it, I haven’t tried to do it in years. So let’s pray that having children hasn’t altered my ability to perform said trick. Interested yet? And now, I’m becoming slightly mortified that I agreed to even put this talent on video?! What was I thinking?! I am going to make a royal fool of myself. EEP, you’re all going to laugh at me. Not with me. AT ME. I’m starting to lose my nerve. So maybe the true surprise will be if I *actually* share said surprise talent or not.
Speaking of surprises {nice segue right?}, Green Giant has a brand new way for you to eat your veggies. They’ve recently released Green Giant Veggie Chips – both Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips {Zesty Cheddar} & Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips {Sea Salt}. When the lovely ladies at Clever Girls offered me the opportunity to try a new delightful snack in the Queendom, we all jumped at it. Well I guess technically I jumped at the opportunity. When the box arrived with the snacks {pictured to the left}, the Princesses were, shall we say skeptical? And the King of Free repeatedly kept asking when we could open the bags so he could try them. Before I share our Royal Review, let me share just a couple of pieces of information provided to me from Green Giant about the Chips:
- The Green Giant™ Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips – Zesty Cheddar Flavor are made with real vegetables, 17 grams of whole grain per serving (48g are recommended daily), and are naturally flavored.
- The Green Giant™ Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips – Sea Salt Flavor are made with real sweet potatoes and made with 14 grams of whole grain. Plus, they contains 40 percent less fat than regular potato chips (6g per 28g serving vs. regular potato chips 10g per 28g serving).
The Royal Verdict? Surprisingly even to the Princesses, they were declared delicious by all. In fact, I’m pretty sure that no one complained about eating veggies which was a nice Royal Surprise. The Princess Eldest and I were Team Sea Salt Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips while the Princess Youngest and King of Free favored the Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips {which tasted like a familiar to us chip oft featured in Super Bowl commercials, which shall remain unnamed}.
Oh, by the way, you can also snag an $0.85/1 coupon on Green Giant Veggie Snack Chips if you’d like to give them a whirl. I LOVE me a good coupon.
What’s that? You were promised a Surprise Talent and you’ve continued reading because you deserve, nay demand, such a surprise talent. Promise you won’t laugh. Ok promise you won’t laugh too loud. I’m really putting myself out there {and that’s coming from a girl who regularly wears a plastic crown}. Without further ado . . .
If YOU have a surprise talent, you can reveal on the Green Giant YouTube or Facebook Pages. I’m sure both the Giant and Sprout would find mine *ahem* amusing.
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective, and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own. You can read my Disclosure Policy for full details.
