Good Day Money Saving Lords and Ladies! In case you missed it, check out yesterday’s Queen on 13 video segment for 2013 Meal Planning Musts. I mentioned that I use this little handy dandy meal planner {pictured above} to draft our meals via pen and paper on a weekly basis {and also create my grocery list for the next week}. There are many ways you can approach planning yours but the main principle is to find something that works for you, stick with it, and tweak it as life dictates.

Monday: 1/2 Ham, Turkey, & Colby Jack Cheese Sandwich
Topped with Fresh Veggies & choice of Ranch, Honey Mustard, or Mayo

Spinach, Red Onion, Cheese, & Salsa
Blueberries
Wednesday: Pesto Shrimp Pasta with Spinach & Mushroom {Freezer Meal}
Macaroni & Cheese for the Princesses {unless I can convince them otherwise}
Carrot Sticks
Crockpot Pears
Thursday: Homemade Pizza
with Turkey Pepperoni, Mushroom, & Red Onion {1/2 Cheese for girls}
Salad
Friday: Veggie Wraps
Baked Potatoes
Crockpot Apple Sauce
Saturday: Brunch: Cereal, Toast, Fruit, Oatmeal
Dinner: Shredded Chicken in a Wrap or on Bread
Homemade Sweet Potato Fries
Green Beans
Apple Crumble
Sunday: Lunch: Leftovers
Dinner: Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup
