Not Seeing the Queen in Your Facebook Feed?

Tips like these helped us pay off $127K in debt. You can read our story in Slaying the Debt Dragon: How One Family Conquered Their Money Monster and Found an Inspired Happily Ever After.

June 5, 2012 By Cherie Lowe

You may or may not have heard that Facebook is changing the way that they approach Fan Pages.  Pages {not personal pages} now have the option of paying per post to have them appear more often in the feeds of their fans.  This is cool for HUGE pages with tens and even hundreds of thousands of fans.  For those of us who are smaller {and have zero ad budget}, this is a bit more tricky.  Here are some tips to make sure that you stay in the loop on all things Royal and Money Saving.

1) Be sure that you have clicked “Show in News Feed” option under the “Liked” tab {pictured above}.  Don’t accidentally click Unlike though!  🙂  You could also put me in a list that should show up on your sidebar.  Another note is that you can message me directly through Facebook now, too when you click where it says “Message.”

2) I have been told that the more often you “Like” a post or comment on it, it will show up more in everyone’s feed and perhaps your own more frequently, too.

3) You may have to go out and check the Court of the Queen of Free on Facebook on your own from time to time, too to see what I’ve posted.  I know it’s not as convenient as it once was but I promise you it will be worth it!

4) You can also follow me on Twitter or Sign up to receive my updates via E-mail too {they come out daily at 5 PM}.

Let’s just say I’m not the happiest with Mark Zuckerberg.  But then I remind myself Facebook is free to begin with {just not free to promote now}.

Hope this helps you stay in the know on all things Royal Money Saving Debt Slaying and general merriment.
