Just this week, I realized that I should encourage the Youngest Princess to clean out the sink after she was finished brushing her teeth. I think because she’s only just turned 4, I had just resigned myself to scraping the pink gunk out myself. Imagine my surprise when she easily and joyfully did the job herself. Seriously, something that I was grumbling about was FUN for her! I forget how much little people are capable of and that they even might enjoy helping. When I release control of doing it “just right,” not only am I blessed but they learn valuable skills. I don’t even have to ask her to wipe out the sink anymore. She does it automatically. This is seriously the biggest blessing of my week!
