We have moved the needle a wee bit more (every single bit counts) and we’re officially over the 110K mark.
$110,044.24 to be exact. Woowhee, that adds up to a lot of trips to the Dollar Store.
Sometimes I rub my eyes like a small child waking from a long nap, it a state of confusion and disbelief.
Can that really be true? Who can even imagine a number that high?
npr says we can’t. the highest the human brain can grasp is 7.
What else could we have done with that money?
The King of Free pontificated how many luftballoons we could’ve bought. Spoiler: It’s more than 99.
What will the long term impact be of paying off this grand load of debt years before it was technically “due”?
What pitfalls and traps will be avoided since we’ve agreed never again to use debt as a part of strategy for living?
How have our children been changed by this experience? What will it mean for them?
What are we being prepared to do?
What’s the next step after this journey?
Besides party.
And then pay off the mortgage, save for retirement, and college.
And oh yeah, buy new towels.
Regardless the answers to the many questions, we are changed.
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2
