Greetings Money Saving Lords and Ladies! I hope you all had a Fabulous Fourth, celebrating the freedom our nation enjoys. We had a nice time with both friends and family this weekend and today we’re back to business, getting organized, the King and I both did some work-work this AM, and now he’s working on the mower and I’m hanging out with you.
For those of you keeping count, I didn’t post our Meal Plan last week but we still ate at home all week long (minus the wonderful Qdoba that the Queen Mum blessed myself and the Princesses with last Friday for lunch). The King of Free has indeed continued his streak and not eaten out in 2010 at. all. He’s a beast. I’m telling ya.
Here’s what’s for dinner on the Royal Table this week:
Monday: Shrimp and Chopped Veggies in a Tomato Basil Sauce
Served over Whole Wheat Spaghetti (just place sauce and pasta for the kiddos)
Spinach Salad
Toast/Olive Oil
Fresh Cut Strawberries and Blueberries for Dessert (Thank you Aldi!)
Tuesday: Individual Pizzas on Deli Thins
Topping Choices Include Turkey Pepperoni, Red/Yellow Pepper, Red Onion, Mushroom
with Fresh Basil (from the King’s Mum’s Garden YUM-o)
Spinach Salad
Fresh Cut Watermelon
Wednesday: Mesquite Shredded Chicken
Black Beans
Southwestern Red Potatoes
Cheese, Salsa, Sour Cream
Grilled Pears
Thursday: Leftovers for the King – I’ll be on my high flying adventure and one or both of the
Princesses will be at the Queen Mum’s. 🙂
Friday: Quick Fix: of Whatever we have – PBJ, fresh veggies, egg sandwiches, leftovers, etc.
Saturday: Grilled Chicken Sandwiches
Grilled Veggies (Prince Edward Medley)
Apple Sauce
Sunday: Pulled Pork Sandwiches
“Smooshed” Beans (aka Refried beans dubbed as such by the Eldest Princess at an early age)
