Monday Meal Plan

Tips like these helped us pay off $127K in debt. You can read our story in Slaying the Debt Dragon: How One Family Conquered Their Money Monster and Found an Inspired Happily Ever After.

May 3, 2010 By Cherie Lowe

Monday, Monday.  It’s time for me (and you too!) to look through the cabinets and fridge to plan meals.  Keep in mind that you don’t have to have a iron clad plan.  Maybe you’re just planning main dishes or you might not end up keeping everything on the exact night of the week (we rarely do and in fact last week’s Sunday meal is tonight’s dinner).  It’s just nice to know that you have everything you need for 5-6 specific meals (or maybe more if you’re a rock star!) without having to hit the stores.

So here’s what we’re having on the Royal Table this week.  Don’t forget you can use this tool to help you plan your meals, too!

Monday: Pulled Pork Sandwiches
                Cole Slaw
                Beans
                Sliced Strawberries

Tuesday: Grilled Turkey Dogs
                 Sweet Potato Chips
                 Leftover Beans and Slaw
                 Apple Sauce

Wednesday:  Spaghetti with Ground Turkey
Served in a Tomato Basil Sauce
                       Spinach Salad
                       Toast/Olive Oil

Thursday: Veggie Pizza
                   Fresh Cut Veggies
                   Apple and Orange Slices

Friday:  Possibly out for the night?  If not, leftovers.

Saturday: Leftovers/PBJ
                  Egg White Sandwiches
                  Fresh Cut Veggies
                  Fruit Smoothies

Sunday: Chinese Take-In – Bagged Mix from Target
Beef Peppercorn with Bok Choy, Onions, and Carrots
               on Brown Rice

What are you most looking forward to putting on your Royal Table this week?  Don’t forget you can use this handy dandy tool to plan your meals and keep a good grocery list on hand, courtesy of the Queen of Free.
