I’m pretty excited because I’m using Groupon for the first time today! I’ve been watching it since it launched in Indianapolis and more than once have wanted to try out one of their deals but this one was the first that I thought was definitely something we needed AND a great deal.
Groupon is a collective buying group where daily an offer is made at a GREAT discount for a local business (from spas to fitness centers to food to restaurants and entertainment, you name it!). If enough people “buy” into the deal, then everyone gets the discount together. If not enough people sign up, you’re off the hook. Each day, there’s a deal and it’s only good for that day. Today in the Indianapolis area, Groupon is offering $35 worth of Organic Farm Fresh Produce and Natural Groceries from Farm Fresh Delivery for ONLY $15! OH and did I mention that they deliver it? Straight. to. your. door?! And you can choose when you want to use it and select the produce you want. And yeppers, Greenwood is in the delivery area (as are pretty much all of the cities and towns in the doughnut counties). They’ll deliver to your work or home. The FINE PRINT does say that you’ll be subscribing to the service and need to cancel it after you use your Groupon deal. I don’t want you to accidentally run up a string of charges. Although you may fiind that you LOVE having groceries delivered from local farms to your door. 🙂
