Free events abound this weekend for you and your family! Check out a few of the opportunities that I’ve gathered for you. Note that several of these events have a Mother’s Day theme to help you get ready for a week from Sunday. If you are a dad or know a dad, you might want to pass this information along!
Free Events and Opportunities:
- Free admittance to the first 1300 at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis on Saturday May 1st.
- Saturday May 1st is Free Comic Book Friday. Details here.
- Lowe’s BuildAndGrow Clinics to build School House on 5/1/10 and a Trellis Planter on 5/8/10 for Mother’s Day.
- Home Depot Kids Workshop on 5/1/10 to build a Picket Fence Planter.
- Michael’s The Knack Kids Club is featuring 6 Mother’s Day Make It Take It Mother’s Day Gifts again this year. You can have the kids make gifts for the grandmas, mamas, and special friends in their lives. Plus you don’t have to spend a dime OR clean up the mess! Scroll down for each project and their date. They run from 5/2/10 to 5/8/10.
- In Store Events at Babies ‘R Us on May 4th, 8th, and 25th for new mamas and families with babies. 🙂
- Simon Mall Kidgits Clubs offer events nationwide. Go here to find out if your local mall has something coming up on the calendar. The Greenwood Park Mall will feature a Eco Event on Saturday May 1st from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM in the event area near Johnny Rockets.
