August 10, 2009 By Cherie Lowe

Good morning Lords and Ladies!  I hope that your week is off to a great start this morning.  We’re in the preparing for Back to School mode in the Queendom, even though the Eldest Princess doesn’t start 2nd Grade (sniff, sniff) until Friday.  Today, I’m gearing up all of the laundry, getting ready that first day of school outfit.  Tonight, the King and I will be writing a ton of lunch box notes to have quick at hand to slip into the lunchbox on a daily (or at least weekly) basis.  Tomorrow, it’s a baking day!  We’ll be pre-making plenty of waffles, pancakes, and banana muffins to freeze that will be easy and nutritious breakfasts on busy morning (I’ll try to post pictures).  Wednesday, I’m going to make a couple of freezer meals for the upcoming busy evenings and pick up the few things we need for our Bus Stop Breakfast Buffet.  Thursday we will do NOTHING work-wise (and my post on here will be short and sweet).  Friday AM, we’ll have our Big Back to School Breakfast Buffet, then I’ll pinch myself after The Eldest Princess gets on the bus.  I cannot believe she’s headed to Second Grade.  Time flies by so quickly.

Here’s what we’ll be eating on the Royal Table this week:

Monday:  Grilled Chicken Sandwiches
Prince Edward Medley (Green beans, Carrots, and Wax Beans
                Romaine Salad

Tuesday:  Turkey Pepperoni Pizza
                 Romaine Salad
                 Apple Sauce

Wednesday:  Taco Casserole with Grilled Chicken, Brown Rice,
                     Black Beans, Salsa, and Cheese
                     (making double and freezing one)
                     Grapes

Thursday:  Grilled Pork Ribs
                  Green Beans
                  Grilled Corn

Friday:  Pancakes, Bacon, and Eggs
             Fruit Smoothies

Saturday: Chicken Ringos
(great coupons for these here on Walmart’s site but you can use them anywhere),
                Carrots, Apple Slices, PBJ

Sunday:  Leftovers
