So I have the entire day to blog Lords and Ladies. I’m sitting in Paradise Bakery and Cafe pinching myself right now. I have a cup of coffee (in a real mug), no small people pulling at my pant leg, a free Wi Fi Connection, an outlet for my laptop and a spring in my step (maybe in my heart?!). The Queen Mum is caring wonderfully for the Princesses who sound like they’re having a fantastic time and wearing their Nana and Grandad down. We plan on joining them in the MotherLand this evening for a family filled Fourth of July weekend.
Today I have the day to work on my blog (there is so much to be done), catch up on correspondence, run errands, doing some house and yard work (can you tell I have perhaps a skewed vision of what I’m actually going to accomplish today?). That’s ok though. Where to begin, where to begin . . .
Let’s start with some updates:
- Today I’ll be adding Cellfire to the Queen of Free. That means you can load your favorite coupons directly to your Kroger Plus card (and/or its affiliates like Ralphs, Jay C, Hilander, etc.) and save more money with greater ease.
- I have a guest post up at Stretching a Buck today! Go and comment and tell Lady Marcy how much you love her for allowing me to post there. 🙂
- Don’t forget that July 5th is the last day to sign up for Swagbucks and get 5 for free when you sign up with the Queen of Free!
- If you’re looking for fun free things to do this weekend to celebrate the 4th of July, go here!
- I’m going to be giving away another subscription to All You with the contest opening today. Enter for your chance to win a subscription to either All You, Real Simple, Cooking Light, Southern Living, Health, or a number of other quality publications from Southern Living Publishing.
- I survived my Roller Coaster Adventure yesterday at Kings Island. I rode The Beast, the Vortex, the Diamondback, Flight of Fear, Firehawk, the Twin Racers, the Crypt, Stunt Car Backlot, and MORE (including a stupid water ride that soaked me from head to toe for most of the day which doesn’t sound terrible but it was FREEZING yesterday for July. UGH, the things I will do for kids.). And I had a great time with some amazing Middle School kids who go to our church. Double bonus.
- And for those of you who had been following my gym madness, I got an e-mail yesterday saying that Bally had transferred my membership to another local gym and I can go there for the rest of the year without paying a dime YAYAYAYAY! Hooray for Bally doing the right thing for their members. They gained some street cred back in my eyes. And did I mention they teach spinning classes there? Hooray.
