Here are a few opportunities and great deals for you to take advantage of today!  Some of them have a bit of a Father’s Day theme.

  • Tampax Pearl , courtesy of Walmart.  Obviously, this is not for your Dad.
  • Green Magma, Green Barley Juice Powder, courtesy of Greenfoods.com would be great if your dad is a health nut.
  • If he’s a reader, a copy of John MacArthur’s newest book The Jesus You Can’t Ignore , courtesy of Grace to You ministries might be the perfect gift.
  • Check out Money Saving Mom’s post on how you can spend $50 at Sears on Men’s Pants or Jeans and get $50 rewards cash back (good through October).  Just in time for Father’s Day!
  • Looks like Hot Book (that we talked about last week here) is also offering a free Father’s Day book.  I’m unsure if you can get it if you’ve already collected a free one in the past week.  Remember, it’s a Facebook Freebie.
  • I’ve begun to get a few Father’s Day dining out opportunities but nothing like the barrage of Mother’s Day.  I’ll keep you posted when new offers become available.
Have a fantastic day.  Oh, and for those of you who wondered, our Cheeseburger Slider Salad from last night was nothing short of awesome (I really did mean to take pictures).  I actually added some chopped onions to the burgers before grilling them to give them a bit more of a slider flavor which was YUM-o.  The Ketchup based vinaigrette was a little wangy and I adjusted the levels of everything in it to even out the flavor but it tasted awesome on the salad (not so great on its own).  I found that I didn’t have pickles so I just used a little relish instead and that was awesome, too!  The Princess and the King were both big fans.  🙂
