If you or someone you love have recently lost your job and/or insurance, check out this opportunity from Walgreens (thanks to Sir Andy for encouraging me to checking into this). They will be offering free basic services during set hours in their Take Care Clinics. This is a wonderful, generous service. Give Walgreens some love (our pharmacy of choice because of the AMAZING pharmacists who work there *ahem* Sir Matt) for stepping up to take care of those in need during a time of economic turmoil. If you’re looking for something fun to do with your kiddo this weekend, check out Home Depot’s Kids’ Workshops. This weekend, they will be teaching you and your child (ages 5-12) how to make a Window Birdhouse. Looks super cute and perfect for Springtime. There’s an event every month, always on a Saturday 9-12. I’m hoping to let the King and Eldest Princess take advantage of this one on Saturday for a little Daddy/Daughter. Go here for more details. If you can’t make it to Home Depot (or don’t have one in your area) this weekend, go to Lowe’s next and build a birdhouse there with their similar program – Build and Grow Clinics.
