Boy oh boy, ’tis a rainy Monday here in the Queendom. I took the trash/recycling out this AM and was drenched in the process. I am glad to be inside for now, warm, safe and dry while the youngest princess naps. I’m tempted to nap myself but I’d rather spend a bit of time with you, Lords and Ladies, chatting about more ways to save money and live life to its fullest, even on rainy days.
We had a wonderful Easter weekend! With our Life Group, we helped hide 560 eggs for a local mobile home community, providing a hunt for over 30 kiddos. We had a great time with our church family and a nice Easter dinner at home together. I found well priced items for the girls’ Easter baskets and even scored a new dress shirt for the King for $1.97 at JC Penney. Woohoo. It was a very great day and weekend.
Today, I sit with a very messy house and a ton of laundry to get caught up on plus plenty of appointments to schedule and of course some routine maintenance on the blog. But the weekend was well worth it for a bit of rest and a whole lot of fun. I’ll be bringing you a recipe for my favorite egg casserole today in Monday Meals as we’ll be on the path to use up all of the extra ham we didn’t eat yesterday! I’ll also be rounding up more great deals and opportunities for you.
