Today, March 14th, you may have read about me in the local paper, The Daily Journal , based in Franklin, IN. Special thanks to Ryan Trares for working so hard with me to write an informative article that tells a bit of our story and is fun, too. If you are new to the Queen of Free, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- I post every weekday (usually by 10 AM) and sometimes on the weekend, at least one free item you can find either on the internet or in stores. Many times I post more than one item.
- Every Monday, I give you a meal idea and recipe that can be made both thriftily and healthfully for your family.
- Feel free to scroll through older posts or look through the categories listed on the sidebar for something specific. Older posts offers may not still be valid so keep that in mind.
- In particular, I did a string of posts last October on things to get for free on your birthday. Check out the Happy Birthday label for ideas.
- If you are new to couponing, click on the button that says 15 Days of Couponing with Bargain Briana. Briana is also a Hoosier gal, based out of Tipton who blogs on how to save money. She’s doing a series on how best to coupon right now. I’m a novice compared to her! You can also always print great coupons right on the Queen of Free Blog in the side bar. I try to alert you when a great deal is available but feel free to scroll through and select the coupons you want. They are reset on a monthly basis with new offers (and sometimes a new one creeps in before then).
- I also attempt to share as many tips on how to be frugal as possible, from house cleaning to health and beauty, with a general philosophy of using and re-using everything we’ve got til it’s good and worn out.
- From time to time, I run a give away (two are scheduled for the upcoming week and one is in progress right now). Get involved and get something else for free.
- Check out the Royal Blogs tab for some of my favorite blogs that help me save money every week!
- If you know of a great deal, please e-mail me @ thequeenoffree@gmail.com! I’m always looking for input from Deal Saving Lords and Ladies in the Queendom.
