I wanted to bring a tip to you from one of our faithful readers, Lady Jamie who hails from Chicago. Jamie is a phenomenal teacher and as a teacher is of course, underpaid for the life changing work that she does. So, she’s always on the prowl for free things she can use in and out of the classroom. She suggested that teachers (of all varieties, including the brave women and men who homeschool!) check out Crayola’s website. They have a special area just for educators, with lesson plans and craft projects. I personally LOVED the art centered Color Science projects. The lady also mentioned that they give products away to teachers a couple of times a year. I’m thinking that you need to register as a Gold Star Teacher to be a part of that program, but I’m not sure. There are also certificate makers, coloring sheets, and craft projects galore on the site! I know that the eldest princess will be delighted to color up and craft up anything that I get from this site.
