Pizza
We may not be the Windy City, but we can still dish up pizza with the best of them. Check out these local places sure to make your mouth drool if you want to get in a little MOMCon 2015 Pizza fix. You can order in or dine out, but you’ll be satisfied either way.
Bazbeaux (333 Massachusetts Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46204): This is my favorite place in Indy to grab “grown up” pizza. With exotic flavors and unique offerings on the menu, the big girl in you will squee to not have to eat plain cheese from a chain. And if you love cheese, Pizza Alla Quattro Formaggio is so for you. The lunch specials Monday – Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM will get you an amazing lunch for under $5. You can get gluten free vegan crust (made off site but prepared in a kitchen where there is flour FYI), too. And yes, they deliver!
Hotbox (30 E Georgia St. Indianapolis, IN 46204): If I’m ordering delivery pizza, I’m definitely going with Hotbox. Again, you can get out of the ordinary options and the best deal is ALWAYS the Pie of the Week which is half priced. Check the blog, Facebook, or call to see which speciality pizza is featured for less dough (get it?). No gluten free options, unfortunately, womp.
Napolese Pizzeria (30 South Meridian Street. Indianapolis, IN 46204): I haven’t been to Napolese Pizzeria but it’s one of those places I always hear my girlfriends talk about! It is a little pricey so it’s definitely a special treat but artisanal pizza will delight your inner hipster. Let me know what you think if you go!
Pie Five (48 E. Washington St.IndianapolisIN 46204): Pie Five opened less than 2 months ago! It’s a design-your-own pizza place with a lower price and quick service. Choose your own crust (yes, to the gluten free girls you have an option), sauce, and toppings, and your very personal pizza is made quickly – like 5 MINUTES. Hence the name. Check out the menu to get some ideas before you go.
Giorgio’s (9 E Market St. Indianapolis, IN 46204): Again, this is a pizza place that I haven’t visited to date, but it has decent reviews on Yelp! so it might be a good fit. Plus, it opens at 9 AM (say what?!). I hear this is the closest you can get to NY Pizza in Indy and they deliver, too ($3.95 charge). No gluten free options for crust, though.
California Pizza Kitchen (49 W. Maryland St. Ste. 104 Indianapolis, IN 46204): So this one’s a chain but if you’re looking for a familiar flavor, CPK could be a good fit. I’m guessing the menu is the same as where you’re from and you can get more options than just pizza, too.
