Being in debt can be an incredibly isolating feeling. It seems like everyone else has their financial act together while you flounder and question how you got yourself into this mess.

Seek counsel from your pastor or someone on a local church staff. See if you can find an Financial Peace University course.
When you’re tempted to feel guilty or shamed about having so much debt, be vulnerable and seek forgiveness. Remember conviction comes from God and ushers us toward change and reaching toward help. Shame and guilt paralyze, keeping us in the dark and isolated. Don’t believe the lie you’re all alone. The dark whispers that you can never conquer your debt continue to float in your head as long as you keep your current state to yourself. Reach out and ask for help.
