It’s been a Q&A sort of couple of weeks here in the Queendom. I’ve been doing a number of interviews online, over the air, and in print. Questions always bring out a better story and provide clarity, so it’s been fun to respond to the inquiries tossed at me. Here are a few places you can learn more:
ShopSmart Magazine from Consumer Reports
I loved this question Sandra Gordon asked me: “Is there a common mistake shoppers make when they’re looking for freebies?” Um, yes. I’ve fallen into this trap more than one time myself. Read the answer along with some of my favorite places to look for freebies, coupons, and deals in Live Cheaply with Tips from the Queen of Free.
Jonathan Merritt with Religious News Service
It’s always kind of a dream when one of your favorite authors requests an interview. Jonathan Merritt’s Jesus is Better Than You Imagined was one of my favorite reads of 2014 so I was thrilled when he asked to interview me about Slaying the Debt Dragon. One of my favorite questions in this interview was: “What’s the hardest part of getting your finances in order and how can people overcome this hurdle?” It allowed me to use the expression, “Don’t return to your financial vomit and expect things to be hunky dory.” You can read more in Faith-filled Finance Tips from the Queen of Free.

Hi! I enjoyed reading about Jonathan Merritt’s review the other week. Thanks for the links to the other reviews. I haven’t forgotten that I said I was going to write about Slaying the Debt Dragon on my blog. I decided to put some things in practice first so I could put proof in the pudding so to speak. 🙂 I just alerted my FB page that a new post on our financial correction course was in the making. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks for sharing so much wisdom with me. You really have no idea what a difference it is making in my life. PS- I lived in Indy for over 10 years. All my husband’s family is still there. It’s was the best place ever to raise a family.
