Fall break is officially over for the Princesses and today was a VERY good day of getting some things under control in the house. AND I bought a new slow cooker last night friends. She is a 7 qt. beauty and is now filled with steaming hot chili. This is a really big deal for me because I have subsisted on three very small $4 slow cookers for quite some time. It’s the simple pleasures, y’all. At the beginning of next week, the King of Free will be meal planning because I’ll be at a Writers Boot Camp in Denver (yeehaw!). Also we’re eating out on Saturday because it’s my birthday week – a.k.a. The Seven Days of Cherie. HOORAY. Maybe I can get him to guest post his plan!
Don’t forget I have a newly designed Meal Planner to help you in your meal planning and grocery list endeavors. And you can always find it (along with other great resources) on the FREE Printables Tab on Queen of Free. If you prefer red to purple, there’s another option over on Slaying the Debt Dragon.

Planning meals was definitely one of the biggest keys for success in our paying off over $127K in debt. Often I swap days or side items to make our menu plan work but the main purpose is to make sure I have everything on hand I need for meals throughout the entire week. The less you go to the store, the more money you save! What are you having on your Royal Table this week?
