Catch me tomorrow morning on WTHR Weekend Sunrise at 7:45 AM! Here’s a sneak peek of some of the money saving tips I’ll share.
Cinco de Mayo is a great day to celebrate Mexican heritage and history. Many restaurants will offer drink specials and food on the cheap. Here’s a round up of some of my favorite deals of the day and a recipe for a quick, easy, and cheap Mexican side dish.
Incredible Pizza Company: Wear a Sombrero and get a FREE buffet meal, lunch or dinner. Plus, Pinata busts at noon, 1 PM, and 6 PM where you can win candy, game cards, and tickets!
Moe’s Southwest Grill: You can get a Homewrecker Burrito, Chips & Salsa for only $5, limit 1 per person.
Adobo Grill: Special menu {not free but WOW} and a Mariachi Band plays from 6:30-9:00 pm.
ALDI: $0.69 Avocados! Make your own guacamole and stay home to save.
Meijer: Over $8 mPerks {digital coupons that you “clip” to your phone number} on great Mexican foods. Avocados are 2/$3 and you can get a free can of Rotel when you purchase 3. Plus fresh cilantro is only $0.50/bunch. And there are plenty of other great deals to whip up a fiesta.
Kroger: 4/$5 Avocados, 10/$10 Mangoes & Papaya, 2/$6 Tostitos plus plenty of other great snacking fiesta deals.
Want to stay home and celebrate? Here’s my favorite side dish which is EXTREMELY affordable and easy, too – Crockpot Salsa Rice
