I’m not sure who can really live without Cheerios. They’re a staple in our house both for the little people and the big people, too! Not only do I trust their nutritional goodness for the eldest and youngest princess, I also trust their nutritional necessity for the King and me.
You might notice the Cheerios boxes at your local grocery store displaying the Women’s Heart Disease Awareness Red Dress right now. High cholesterol leading to heart disease is a problem for many women and the number one cause of death among women. A large number of women who struggle with both of these problems don’t have adequate funds to seek the healthcare that they so desperately need. Cheerios invites you to be part of the solution in assisting these women to obtain proper healthcare. From now through January 31, 2010 Cheerios will donate $1 for every code on specially marked boxes entered @ Cheerioshelpinghearts.com .

My teenage son likes to snack (and sometimes can snack me out of house and home!), but I keep frozen berries on hand for a heart-healthy handful rather than chips or ice cream. Also, the berries are great with Cheerios for breakfast and yogurt for my lunch!

My 4 year old son and I eat Cheerios about every day, because they are one of the only cereals that we can both agree on to eat all week.
I also eat them to help me with keeping my chances of high cholesterol down. I don’t currently have a issue with it and hope by eat Cheerios every day to never have an issue.
Thank you Cheerios!

Our family does everything we can to eat well and maintain a healthy lifestyle through exercise, taking our vitamins daily, eating well (whole grain foods, organic food and drink items) and talking about healthy living, which is really important for our five year old son.
We just tried the new Banana Nut Cheerios last night and it appears that my son has a new favorite snack!!

I try to avoid high-fat, fried foods that cause inflammation and I enjoy cardio exercise 3-5 times a week. Also, Honey Nut Cheerios are my daily breakfast choice.

Having just moved to a big city, I find myself walking more than ever. On nice days, I will walk a couple of extra blocks to a farther train station, or run quick errands on my bike. After growing up on Honey Nut Cheerios, its been easy to keep them a part of my diet!

I use Cheerios a lot to make trail mix. It comes in handy for a different lunch item since I pack my 3 kids’ lunches every day for school. Exercising and constantly being active help our heart health.
